Upon popular demand , I've started a new thread. Please post your views on perhaps why you think man was 'created', the meaning of life and the limits of free will : meaning, do you think that there are certain paths already marked out for each of us i.e. fate. I think that WE create paths for ourselves, we all have limits. The paths created for each of us is constructed out of our abilities, personality and interests. In a sense, i believe in fate, but I think that we are not restricted to one path, we have the choice (free will ) to decide which path we follow.Thoughts?

Oh this is so hard to explain! I am an atheist but i beleive very much in spiritual entities, and many other things spiritual come to that! (ie; energies and chakras and the like!) I think we all have a path in life, which we cannot choose but are free to follow if we wish. If we are on our 'right' path, we know it. People who are 'content' with their jobs for example... If we are not on our right path, things start to go wrong..ie; nature's way of telling us we should change our attitude, job, lifestyle etc. I also beleive in spirit guides, (i've met mine!), who are with us to help us find that... ...crazy? maybe! In Peace, xxx

I follow (loosely) buddhist teachings, so I believe that we create our own path through life. However if things are going wrong or something seems to be just a little to coincidental then it's due to one of two things. Either 1) It could be that too much positive or negative karma is actually affecting what goes on around you or 2) What's happening is the effect of others and is merely catching you up in it's path
